Monuments

Choosing a final resting place, whether for a loved one or for yourself, is an important decision. Once that decision is made, a special monument to mark that space is one of the most personal and special ways to commemorate an individual, couple or family. A memorial can be as simple or elaborate as you wish. It can highlight a family name or a favorite passion, or tell a complete and touching story in pictures and words.

Cemetery markers can be crafted from granite or bronze. Granite is a beautiful, natural material that comes in many different colors, depending on where in the world it was formed. Bronze is a metal alloy, composed of copper and tin; it has been used since ancient times in sculptures and memorials. We offer various colors of granite monuments and bronze markers and personalize it to your wishes.

*Please note that certain cemeteries have monument regulations, so be sure to determine what is acceptable before purchasing a monument.

Flat or Flush Markers

Flat markers are the simplest and most economical of all memorials. These markers are set flat and flush to the ground and are usually 3-4 inch thickness, rectangular in shape, with a polished surface and sawn sides. From Flowers, religious symbols, emblem to flags, natural scenery and portraits, our suppliers can sandblast or engrave any desired pattern or artwork reflecting lifestyles of your beloved one.

Bevel Marker

Bevel Markers are similar to flat markers with the main difference being that the back of a bevel marker is slightly taller than the front. Typically, this is a two inch drop from back to front. Bevel markers sit above ground and are 6 or 8 inches in height.

Slanted Marker

The advantage of a slanted grave marker, as opposed to a lawn-level or bevel grave marker, is that it is easily visible from a distance. While not tall enough to be considered an upright monument, a slanted gravestone still stands out in a cemetery because the granite is cut to sit at a steep angle.

Upright Headstones

Upright headstone monuments are the most traditional of markers and a perfect fit for families wanting a dignified and classic way to remember their loved one. These types of monuments come as a set with a minimum of 2 pieces included.  The tall portion that stands upright is called a Die or tablet, and it's supported by a sturdy Base, usually of the same colored granite.

Custom Monuments

Memorials are always a special way to remember an individual's legacy, but by investing in a custom monument for yourself or your loved one, you are able to create a lasting tribute to the unique personality of the deceased. Customization allows you to express an individual's interests, abilities, and life in a permanent way, and our suppliers can provide many different available options to meet your wishes. Here are just a few ideas for customized monuments that may be suitable for you or your loved one: hearts, books, crosses, and two-tone granite.
